Daily rate £180-200, 10am-6pm depending on experience

A minimum of 50-65 days guaranteed work across the year dependent on experience and skill set.

Cell Project Space is seeking to recruit a production-focused  technician for the gallery. As a freelancer you will support our small, close-knit gallery team suited for a candidate with highly specialist skills and experience within a gallery setting. Essential to the role is an ability to problem solve and work across various disciplines providing technical installation support and at least one or two of the following areas of proficiency: fabrication, carpentry, or audio-visual presentation/production. You will need at least two years of relevant employment, permanent or freelance experience within either a gallery, visual and media arts setting or a professional artist's studio. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as experience and drive in realising a presentation of an artist's vision.

 

The role offers an opportunity to have fixed future income, booked in advance across the year with a minimum of 50-65 days of annual freelance work depending on the skills and expertise you are able to offer.
