British painter Nadine Feinson sees painting as a specific mode of thinking or awareness in which free play is allowed of both conscious and unconscious intellect, a process to think through contradictions. In her work she mainly draws from Henri Bergson's concepts of duration and virtual perception, medieval theology and philosophical negation.
