American artist Erik Wright uses building materials like concrete cubes to represent and criticize the market economy as well as psychological and emotional tolls that are taken in the pursuit of an illusion. In doing so Wright aims to express abstract work spaces and conditions in a way that provokes the onlooker to pursue his own ideals instead of those of others.
