German born artist Monica Oeschler's main concerns in her video works lie with social-role play, social behaviour and interactive group dynamics. She uses specific contexts and locations to create improvised situations, which go beyond the perception of a given reality and involve the viewer on a subjective level through the physical experience of the actual installation.
